How to Play

Players alternate placing stones on the intersections of the grid. Black moves first.

The first player to place five stones in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) wins.

Black-only restriction

Black may not play a move that creates two or more open threes or two or more open fours at once.

An open three/four is a straight line of three/four black stones with empty intersections on both ends. If one end is blocked, the move is allowed.
